Estimates & payment
Are your estimates free?
Yes. We visit your property, talk through what you need and give you a written estimate at no cost and with no obligation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We prefer cash or check. We also accept Zelle, Venmo and wire transfer.
How long does a typical project take?
Smaller jobs like mulching or cleanups take a day or less. Larger hardscape projects can take several days. Your estimate includes an expected timeline.
Landscaping & gardening
Do you offer recurring maintenance?
Yes. We set up weekly, bi-weekly or monthly maintenance based on your property and budget.
How does landscape design work?
We start with a free visit to see your space and hear your ideas. Then we recommend a layout, plants and materials, and give you an estimate before any work begins.
How often should mulch be refreshed?
Most beds look and work best with a fresh layer about once a year. We’ll tell you what your beds need when we visit.
What kind of landscape lighting do you install?
We install low-voltage outdoor lighting for paths, steps, patios, walls, trees and pergolas, with timers so it runs on its own.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. We serve both residential and commercial properties, including businesses, HOAs and rental properties.
Hardscape
Do retaining walls need drainage?
Yes. Proper drainage keeps water from building up behind the wall. We include a compacted base, drainage rock and pipe where needed.
Should I choose pavers or concrete?
Pavers offer more styles and are easy to repair one piece at a time. Concrete is usually more budget-friendly and low-maintenance. We’ll help you pick what fits your project.
Can you fix sunken or cracked pavers?
Yes. We lift the affected area, rebuild the base, re-level the pavers and replace any broken ones.
What types of stone do you work with?
We work with flagstone, stacked stone, natural boulders, stone veneer and manufactured stone. We’ll show you options during the estimate.
Can you add lighting or a patio under a pergola?
Yes. We can build the pergola together with pavers, concrete, a sitting wall or lighting as one project.
How often should a deck be stained?
In our sunny climate, most decks need fresh stain or sealer every 2 to 3 years. Faded or gray wood is a sign it’s time.
Do I need a permit?
Some projects, like taller retaining walls or certain structures, may need a city permit. We’ll let you know during the estimate if your project needs one.
